All apps in Kiosk mode not starting some times

All apps in Kiosk mode not starting some times. Need to enter admin mode and return to user mode to fix it. Any ideas ?

What you said is totally abnormal and I have never heard of any symptom like this in the last 8+ years.  Have you checked if the problematic device is out of memory or CPU resources due to some faulty problem? Or if the problematic devices have been configured with some special low-power mode or managed by some third-party power-managment/battery-management apps?   If so, turn it off and test again.

thank you for the tip. I will check the power settings but I believe there are not changed from the default. We have 50 same devices without such problems

enrolled with QR code at device initial stage

 

I have disabled power managment but wiithout great results.

Tha strange thing is that device remains in same condition after restart. 

If I exit into admin mode and return into kiosk mode it gets back to normal! So I assume there is something going on with the kiosk mode.

This problem is currently happening in one device, I have no report from other devices for the momment .

Instead of Entering Adminmode and back to User mode, did you try to tap homebutton (circle) once and then try to open an app in kiosk mode?

We had this issue when device have been Locked and are working in kioskmode.

Hi Rafael,

it looks like working in some cases but not always. 

The only thing that realy works to to exit kiosk mode and return. 

Any other ideas ? Maybe Kiosk mode is stucking for any reason ? Coud we automate a script to restart Kios mode?

The strange thing is that even if they restart the terminal, this is still happening

Hi , we have feature control enabled. 

Thew problem is happening in all apps into kiosk mode, not in specific. No there is no error meggase.

Thank you for your response, is it possible to revoke feature control profile from the device temporarily?

and soft reboot the device once the profile is revoked?
