Not that I'm aware of. The MX options in cameramgr are limited (enable/disable) and are marked for eventual deprecation in A13+

I also looked into the Camera app built into the rom and it doesnt appear to support any Managed Configurations through Google Play.

You may be able to install a 3rd party camera app that supports Managed Configurations from Managed Play as an alternative. This assumes however that your use case is relative to using a standalone camera app. If you are trying to configure the default camera settings for an app that has its own camera function then configuring a 3rd party camera app would likely have no impact on a separate app with its own internal camera function.
