Connection issue during startup of SOTI MobiControl on CN51
I don't think you need to change the update schedule. You must check the retry interval in the connection settings of the device or group. Right click ->Advanced Settings->Connection Settings
I don't have any running v12.1 server and Windows Mobile 6.5 device to do any test, as both are a bit old now.
Maybe you can try to temporarily change the update schedule to every 2 or 5 minutes, and see if the agent manage to get connected in its subsequent retry.

Is your Honeywell CN51 running Android or Windows? What firmware version and what Mobicontrol version/build number are you using?
Does the device keeps in the "connecting to xxx" state for many hours? In principle, the device agent will retry connecting to the server (every 2 hour is the default, though you can make it more frequent by modifying the "Update schedule" advanced configuration). Do you need the agent to get connected to the MobiControl right after you boot the device?
