Great question! I have a HoloLens sitting on my desk but never thought to enroll it in SOTI. I am curious about this myself. I would assume that given that it is running some variant of Windows that it should be manageable to an extent but I have no idea what enrollment would look like and I kind of doubt there would be any HoloLens specific management options.

Hi Matt,

we support Airwatch and Blackberry UEM too and can tell you with Airwatch Console 9.2.3 its officially working https://my.air-watch.com/help/9.2/en/Content/Platform_Guides/Windows_Hololens/_C/HololensIntroduction.htm

and as SOTI is still strong with wearables it might be a good opportunity to add the support for this windows10 gadget to their portfolio.

Unfortunately I do not have a HoloLens here to test. @Matt are you able to test this with your environment?

I opened a Supportcase for it let's see what they say.

I certainly would be willing to. If you do the leg work of figuring out the process for enrollment and what specifically you want to validate then I'd be willing to carry out the tests.

Hello Chatterji, Matt,

Great question!

Matt, you are correct in your initial assumption.  Right now you can enroll a HoloLens in MobiControl (I have one on my desk too!) and you can perform some management operations on it. We are actively working on fully supporting the device as a unique device type under Windows Modern management.

Thanks,

Kevin
