Export all certificates from the Administration Utility

Export all certificates from the Administration Utility

We would like to change our MC server (v14.4.9.1034) and plan to backup / restore the MobiControl database on a new machine (same MC version). Could you please tell me where are the certificates stored on the server or how to export them from the Administration Utility?

Do we have to open each certificate and export it?

Thank you in advance

Hi Yoan R,

Thank you for requesting an answer from Support Staff.

I would like to inform you that you can find the Mobicontrol Root & Intermediate Certificate under MC.TEMP Certificate store and Trusted Root Store in the Microsoft Management console ( MMC ) on the server.

Kindly follow the steps below to view certificates in MMC Snap-in.

  1. Select Run from the Start menu, and then enter mmc.

    The MMC appears.

  2. From the File menu, select Add/Remove Snap In.

The Add or Remove Snap-ins window appears.

  3. From the Available snap-ins list, choose Certificates, then select Add.

  4. In the Certificates snap-in window, select Computer account, and then select Next.
  5. In the Select Computer window, leave Local computer selected, and then select Finish.

  6. In the Add or Remove Snap-in window, select OK.

  7. Add or Remove Snap-ins window with OK button highlighted
  8. To view your certificates in the MMC snap-in, select Console Root in the left pane, then expand Certificates (Local Computer).

A list of directories for each type of certificate appears. From each certificate directory, you can view, export, import, and delete its certificates.

You can also export individual Webconsole and other certificates by hit the button Export in the MCAU ( Mobicontrol Administration utility ) to download the certificates. Please select the certificate that you would like to download and then hit Export to save it on your local machine.

Also, if this post has helped you in solving your inquiry, I would request you to mark the particular comment as "is solution", so others may benefit from this information.
