How do I set the default keyboard with Gboard

How do I set the default keyboard with Gboard

I tried enrolling in Vivo with the Android Enterprise method, I checked the default keyboard device using com.emoji.keyboard.touchpal.vivo, how do I change the default keyboard setting to Gboard.

The issue is that writesecuresetting isn't really fully supported by Android Enterprise managed devices. That technique worked fairly well for under legacy Device Administrator based management, but not really anymore.

I tried to use this script
writesecuresetting -sec enabled_input_methods
com.google.android.inputmethod.latin/com.android.inputmethod.latin.LatinIME:
com.emoji.keyboard.touchpal.vivo/com.android.inputmethod.latin.LatinIME
but still it doesn't work yet, is there something wrong with the script?

vivo devices don't use gboard as the default keyboard, can you use the send script to change the default keyboard?

As far as I know, there is currently no such control from MobiControl on Android-Enterprise platform.  I cannot rule out if any of the following solutions be available in the future:

1. Google includes it as standard option in the writesecuresetting or other related command for all AE-compliant devices

2. Vivo will implement such control in its own OEMconfig complaint app downloadable from Managed-Google-Play Store.
