Hi Johannes,

Great question!  It is actually very easy to enrol non DEP devices (example: BYOD) into SOTI MobiControl.  On the BYOD device, open the Safari browser and enter the Enrollment URL from the add devices rule in the address bar. Follow the steps to successfully enrol your iOS device into SOTI MobiControl.

For more information, please check out Enrolling iOS Devices.

Thanks,

Samin

Hi Johannes,

To add to Samin's response, the Enrollment URL is specified in the summary page of your Add Device Rule and looks like, "https://{FQDN of MobiControl server}/enroll/3".  If you only have one Add Device Rule or would like the BYOD users to enroll using the "Default Add Device Rule", which is configured in the "Global Settings > Enrollment Settings" section, you can ask your BYOD users to navigate to "https://{FQDN of MobiControl server}/enroll".
