We  are looking for the best way to send text or SMS messages from a few individual users working from a Windows computer to individual Android based scanners in our warehouse.  The scanner user would also need to be able to respond back as well.

Currently the devices are locked down with a single app WMS only, and they are only able to authenticate to the WMS app.

We do have the option to integrate via Active Directory, but we're looking to see what other companies are finding success with.
