Loudness of Scanner Beep

Hej,

we are using Zebra MC32 (Windows CE7) in our warehouse and changed the App (Velocity CE -> mobisys) for working in this week.

Unfortunately the new App has no settings for configurating the loudness of the (positiv) scanner read, so it is at maximum volume - the old app had a setting for that.

Normally you can use the Zebra DataWedge for this issue but the scanner is used by a plugin of new app and so the Data Wedge is Idle (disabled).

Is there a possibility to change the volume of the scanner beep (normal windows volume wouldn't effect anything).

Hi Jens,

Thank you for posting a question on SOTI Central.

You may consider using Settings Manager to control Volumn. It allows you to access some of the configurations of System Settings such as Display, Sound, WiFi and Bluetooth. Yon can configure Sound here. If the device is in Lockdown, please follow the steps in the link below to configure it.

Hej NTMOD,

thanks for you answer.

The Settings Manager works really good on our android devices. 

But the problem I have is with windows ce and I didn't find a version of the manager for windows CE under https://docs.soti.net/soti-mobicontrol/downloads/

Is there a legacy version for windows CE7?

I know there's Zebra MX config which can be used for Android buti think there could be something like xml config file to configure Zebra devices in Windows CE too. A question to Zebra would be good in that case then.
