Based on my very quick browsing on the Samsung OEMConfig profile for the latest MobiControl v2024.1 a moment ago, there doesn't seem to have any option to configure "Protect Battery" function yet.
Please check following setting in the Oem config of Samsung (Knox service plugin):
Be aware that this is a premium feature, so you need a Knox license key. If you don't have one, take a look into your Knox portal or reach out to Samsung.
what KSP app version is this? I do not have this option in my KSP. I am using version: 1.4.62. and I have a license key so all good there.
oh wait, I am looking in app policy for KSP app, is there a difference between the OEM config through SOTI and app policy KSP from play store?

lol thanks all, I have tried to apply the setting via KSP app policy and Samsung OEM config and neither one of them are applying the change. I've rebooted several times and factory reset a device and moved it over to my test box to apply the setting and it is still not working. This is not the first time I've had trouble with KSP applying my changes. Sometimes they work after a few hours and sometimes it does not work at all. And I cannot get KSP uninstalled unless I factory reset it. Samsung and KSP has been and continues to be a nightmare for me. I wish they had something similar to Zebra StageNow or Honeywell Enterprise Provisioner.
On the top you can enable debug mode to grab maybe some information helpfull for you or being used to send to Samsung support (can be done via your Knox portal) for further help.

I was only sure that i have seen it somewhere when we were looking into something different on the KSP.
